Voices that shaped Roundtrip
The motivation to innovate
What motivated you to join Roundtrip?

Sergiu Les,
Managing Director
“I was particularly captivated by the project itself. The corporate travel industry is currently undergoing significant momentum, presenting outstanding opportunities for companies that can effectively translate customer needs into modern, seamless solutions. Another factor that greatly motivated me was the diversity within the team. The opportunity to work alongside colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and countries — and to take on the challenge of driving commercial success together — is both inspiring and energizing for me.”

Irina Corcodel,
Head of International Business Development
“I’ve been part of ETG, a global travel tech company with well-established infrastructure and deep operational expertise, for over six years now. Over time, we identified a clear opportunity to expand into business travel — a segment that was evolving rapidly and showing significant potential for innovation. This inspired the launch of a new business travel direction within our ecosystem, which at the end of the day was named Roundtrip. The motivation came from seeing both the challenge and the opportunity, and a vision to build something meaningful in this space.”
Driven by purpose
What is at the heart of Roundtrip’s mission and core values?

Maria Lopes Pereira,
Head of Western Europe
“We stand for making corporate travel effortlessly efficient, truly human, flexible, and accessible — reinforced by perpetual innovation, client-first thinking, and the unwavering support of our commercial team. Our team is built on trust, continuous improvement, and growth. We now benefit from experienced leadership, a culture of human relationships, and excellence.”

Olesia Vaschenko,
Brand Marketing Lead
“At the heart of Roundtrip’s mission is the idea of making business travel truly effortless. We believe that planning and managing trips shouldn’t distract teams from what matters — growing the business. We know from our own experience that building a travel process from scratch isn’t easy. That’s why our goal is to help businesses digitize and streamline these processes, making them clearer, more efficient, and easier to manage.”
A culture of pride and collaboration
What do you love most about Roundtrip’s culture?

Viktoriya Kukk,
Senior Account Manager
“What I love most about the culture at Roundtrip is the transparency and openness within the team. Even when we don’t always agree, there’s a collaborative spirit that helps us find the best path forward. We’re all focused on the same goal — delivering great solutions for travel management — and that shared purpose makes it easy to align, work through challenges, and ultimately achieve great results together.”
Can you tell us about a time you felt proud to be part of Roundtrip?

Elena Shutova,
Senior Product Manager
“I felt immense excitement for Roundtrip from the very beginning, as I was the one who launched the platform. That moment when I could announce, ‘We’re live in production,’ was truly unforgettable. What made me most proud wasn’t just the technical achievement, but witnessing how this ambitious project brought together teams from across the organization. Roundtrip represented more than just a product launch; it was proof of what we could accomplish when we united our expertise and passion toward a shared goal.”
How do you encourage collaboration and creativity among your team?

Olesia Vaschenko,
Brand Marketing Lead
“To me, successful collaboration and creativity always start with clarity. Before we begin any brainstorming or creative process, it’s crucial that the team understands the strategic goals — both of the brand and the specific project. If we don’t know why we’re doing something and who we’re doing it for, we won’t generate meaningful ideas.
When setting up a creative task, I always try to frame it properly. One practical method I use is similar to a ‘Get-to-Buy’ brief — where we define the challenge, the desired behavior, and the barriers we need to overcome. This gives the team clear boundaries to be creative within, which paradoxically helps ideas flow more freely.
Once the framing is in place, I believe the way we run brainstorming sessions makes a big difference. I follow three principles:
- Mix up the team. I like to involve people outside of marketing — for example, bringing someone from the commercial side into a campaign brainstorm. It helps us see things from new angles and stay grounded in business reality.
- Prepare ahead. I make sure we review the background, explore relevant references, and look at how other brands have approached similar challenges — always filtering that through our brand strategy and mission. It makes the discussion more focused and inspiring.
- Facilitate with purpose. I treat brainstorms like structured sessions — not free-for-alls. We usually keep them to around an hour, and the goal is to walk away with a clear direction we can develop into formats, copy, or design in a second iteration.
In short, I see creativity as something that thrives in the right environment — one where the context is clear, people feel safe to contribute, and the process is well-structured but still fun.”
A vision for the future
What is your vision for Roundtrip’s future?

Elena Shutova,
Senior Product Manager
“My dream is creating a system that learns and grows with each company — where booking becomes effortless and travel management becomes a competitive advantage, not a burden. My birthday wish is bold: I want Roundtrip to become the platform that sets the new standard for corporate travel. Not just another booking tool, but a trusted partner that makes companies more efficient and employees happier.”

Viktoriya Kukk,
Senior Account Manager
“My wish for Roundtrip’s future is to become the number one service in the industry, surrounded by loyal, interesting clients who are not just partners, but true collaborators in our growth. And as we move forward, I hope to see our team thrive in an environment where everyone is supported, encouraged, and empowered.”
What’s a major goal you hope to accomplish with your team this year?

Sergiu Les,
Managing Director
“This year, one of my major goals is to strengthen our team at every level. In an industry as dynamic as Travel Management, our success depends on our people — how well we support each other, share knowledge, and adapt to challenges together while staying aligned with our company’s mission of delivering an exceptional experience to our customers and travelers. A unified, resilient, and motivated team will directly translate into higher client satisfaction and help us achieve outstanding results for the company and our clients.”
Joining the team
What would you tell someone thinking about joining Roundtrip?

Irina Corcodel,
Head of International Business Development
“This year is about growing smarter, not just bigger. We’ve reached a solid MVP stage and proven that our approach works, but there’s still so much ahead. Now it’s time to strengthen our ability to support clients as they move toward more structured and fully optimized travel programs — with smarter tools, better insights, and seamless experiences. Much of this is investing in the team, especially on the commercial side. We’re focused on helping people grow, learn the market in depth, and become true partners to our clients. We’re also expanding our network, carefully choosing partners who share our values and long-term vision.”

Maria Lopes Pereira,
Head of Western Europe
“Roundtrip has a fast-moving and product-centric culture; you will grow together with the brand and with the team, always with our attentive support and motivation. We are an international, fun-to-work-with workplace with startup energy. You’ll be solving real problems and having a direct impact on your clients. How to thrive here? Communicate clearly, be proactive and self-managing, and you will earn trust and responsibility. Ask questions, offer solutions, and be innovative.”
